Suffolk County Man Steals Tip Jars to Buy Drugs [ edit | delete ]

A Suffolk County man has been caught stealing charity money from several fast food restaurants in order to buy drugs. According to the Suffolk County Police, the defendant stole tip jars and various charity collection jars after placing his order for food. The culprit has walked out with stolen jars filled with money from three different restaurants within the last month. The Suffolk Police were able to catch the culprit with the help of images from surveillance cameras. The defendant was arraigned in the Suffolk County First District Court in Central Islip on petit larceny charges. It is unknown if a Suffolk County Criminal Defense Law Firm was retained.
