Two Men Arrested in Suffolk County for Stealing from a Hospital

Riverhead Town Police responded to a Riverhead apartment complex after 911 calls were made about a large fight and guns were seen.  Two men were arrested when police arrived, a 31 year old and a 34 year old, both lived in the apartment buildings.  The 31 year old is being charged with third degree criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.  The 34 year old is being charged with second degree and third degree criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.  Arraignment information was not yet available for either criminal defendant. Three Men Arrested in Suffolk County for Driveway Scheme

Suffolk County Man Arrested on Charges of Criminal Mischief

Two Suffolk County Brothers Arrested on Food Stamp Fraud

Two Clerks working at a Bellport grocery store are accused of food stamp fraud.  The clerks would sell a few dollars worth of food items but charge the government issued debit cards more than the amount of the items.  They would then split the difference between the customers.  The customers were then using the money to buy drugs from dealers outside the store.  The scheme was found out when a joint investigation by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the FBI and Suffolk detectives were looking into the Bloods street gang.  The two criminal defendants are being charged with theft of public money and conspiracy to defraud the United States.  Both men were arraigned in Suffolk County Federal Court in Central Islip.  It is unknown at this time if the criminal defendants have retained a Suffolk County Criminal Lawyer for representation.  Brought to you by Suffolk County Criminal Attorneys.

Man Indicted On multiple Robbery and Burglary Charges
